Sooke Hikes within 30min drive

Sooke is a great town to explore if you’re looking for a variety of hikes. There are hikes for all levels of hikers, from beginner to expert.

If you’re looking for a shorter hike/walk close to the town core and views of the harbour try Whiffin Spit or the Sooke Boardwalk Loop.

If you would like to experience old growth and waterfalls, there are many wonderful trails along the Juan de Fuca, including Sandcut Beach or China Beach.

And of course, there is always the famous Sooke Potholes, a great place to spend a day exploring the river.
