This family-oriented, private campground is located just past the bridge as you enter the District of Sooke. Resting on the shores of Sooke River and conveniently located minutes away from downtown Sooke.
Sooke River Campground offers a well-maintained and quiet setting and beautiful scenery with various camping choices from one of the 95 sites including shady-powered RV campsites, tent campsites, or three rustic cabins.

Known as the Sooke Potholes Campground, the official name is Spring Salmon Place Campground, operated by T’Sou-ke Nation. This quiet fist come first serve campground is one of the most unique in the area.
Located close to the end of the Galloping Goose Trail, past parking lot 3 at the Sooke Potholes, this 67-lot campground is cash-only with no reservations.

French Beach is a beautiful campground open year-round (with limited services). French Beach is one of the most popular campgrounds in the area, and as the summer months hit, the “no vacancy” sign stays up until fall, so book early. Cash only.
