Sooke Beaches - within 30min drive

Known for its natural beauty, the area around Sooke has some of the most beautiful, rugged and spectacular coastlines. Visitors to the area enjoy stunning views of the Olympic Mountains across the Juan de Fuca Strait and the plentiful wildlife, including seals, whales and eagles.

Choose from one of the many rocky coves, sandy beaches and stunning viewpoints along the coastline. The mild climate, magical rainforest and spectacular waterfalls make the Sooke beaches an outstanding place to visit any time of year.

If you are looking for beach waterfalls in winter, we highly recommend  Witty’s Lagoon, Sandcut Beach and Mystic Beach.

For sand beaches, make sure to check out East Sooke Provincial Park and Witty’s Lagoon. 

The most spectacular beaches within a 30-minute drive from Sooke would be Mystic Beach and China Beach.
