How often does the Vancouver Island Bucket List newsletter arrive?

The Vancouver Island Bucket List newsletter arrives once a week, on Thursday morning. That is the whole schedule. The only exception is something on the Island that genuinely cannot wait until Thursday, like a trail closure or a road washout.

Do I have to live on Vancouver Island to subscribe?

No. Most subscribers live on the Island, but plenty are planning a trip and use the newsletter to build an itinerary before they get here.

Is the newsletter free?

Yes, the Vancouver Island Bucket List newsletter is completely free. There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email and no hard feelings if you use it.

What happens to my email address?

Your email address is used to send you the newsletter and nothing else. We do not sell it, share it, or hand it to any of our partners. Full details are in our privacy policy.

What kind of places do you feature?

Every place in the newsletter is publicly accessible, with parking and a marked trail or established access. That covers hikes, beaches, waterfalls, and viewpoints from Victoria to Port Hardy, ranging from flat family walks to full-day routes. We visit the places we send you, so if a lot fills by nine or a trail is rougher than it looks, the email says so.
