Located three kilometers outside of Bamfield on the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island. Pachenbay Campground is hidden along a 1200-meter pristine sand beach that rivals the famous beaches of Tofino.
With 129 sites and new shower and washroom facilities, Pachenbay Campground is set up for tents, RVs and motorhomes.
Pachena Bay Campground is nestled in an old-growth rainforest next to an expansive, sandy beach that directly faces the open Pacific Ocean. The campground has been upgraded to welcome RVs and campers as well as tenting.
Located at the mouth of Pachena River, adjacent to Anacla village from Huu-ay-aht First Nations community, lies our hidden gem – Pachena Bay. Located just 5 km away from Bamfield, BC and situated on Vancouver Island’s secluded west coast, and not far from the world-renowned West Coast Trail.
New: Washroom facilities and washhouse that includes paid showers, flush toilets and is wheelchair accessible.
Tenting: 50 tent sites of all various sizes including 8 ocean view sites.
RV Sites: 7 serviced sites for those looking for power and water, the campground does potable water throughout the campground, showers and flush toilets and a sani station on site.
