Conveniently located minutes from downtown Campbell River, This park is an ideal base camp to enjoy while exploring the region. Elk Falls (Quinsam Campground) is a popular destination campground with riverside and large, well-spaced campsites in a stunning forested setting.

3km north of Campbell River on Highway 28 towards Gold River.

Elk Falls has a popular trail network that features viewing platforms at the 25-metre Elk Falls and the suspension bridge. Elk Falls is located on the Campbell and Quinsam Rivers in the heart of a world-renowned fishing area.

  • Reservations are strongly recommended during the popular summer months.
  • Seasonal services are available from April to October – More information
  • Elk Falls offers winter camping and is open year-round. Services are limited during the off-season.
  • 122 vehicle-accessible campsites, 25 of the sites border the Quinsam River. The rest are set in second-growth forests.
  • 51 sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
