The Ale trail might not be the most appropriate term as we also have a distillery and a winery added to our list – but if you are looking for a way to explore Sooke while visiting with family and friends, the local craft beer scene is strong with three brewing companies in the Sooke area. A Distillery and a honey meadery round out the tour and give you a wonderful reason to taste test your way around the entire Sooke district!
Each location offers a unique experience – explore our list and map with locations and descriptions of what you can expect to truly have a memorable day at all five stops.

A family-run brewery, Bad Dog Brewing was started by Jon, a humble home-brewer in a woodworking shop just outside of Sooke.
