Choosing the right hotel can be the difference between a good vacation and a great one. In Victoria, where there’s no shortage of sights to see, you’ll want a place that complements your itinerary, not complicates it. Here’s what we’ve considered to help you pinpoint the best budget stays:

  • Location: We’re looking for hotels that are a stone’s throw from Victoria’s must-see spots. Whether it’s a morning stroll along the Inner Harbour or a quick jaunt to the Royal BC Museum, you’ll be in the heart of it all.
  • Price: We’re talking hotels that offer a comfortable stay without the eye-watering price tag. We’ll highlight spots where the cost of a night’s stay leaves plenty of room in your budget for exploring.
  • Reviews: We’ve scoured the feedback from past guests to ensure these hotels aren’t just affordable. They’re also loved for their service, cleanliness, and local charm.
  • Unique Qualities: Whether it’s a historic building with a story or a family-run spot with homemade breakfasts, we’re spotlighting places that add a little extra to your stay.

With these criteria in mind, we’ve curated a list of hotels that hit the sweet spot between saving pennies and savouring experiences.
